Regarding Annie Koyama’s choice of the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library, she says it was their “focus on preserving and openly sharing the history of comics” that made her select them as recipients of the donation.

The Library & Museum has also confirmed that they will host an exhibition of the new “Koyama Collection” in 2018. It will run from May 6, 2018 – Sunday, October 21, 2018, coinciding with Cartoon Crossroads Columbus (CXC) that year.
