Heavy Metal #285, the ‘Love Special’ is out this week on Wednesday, March 22nd, and includes work by Grant Morrison, Andy Belanger, Liberatore, Enki Bilal, Fernando Baldo, Dean Haspiel, and many more, promising “romance”, “sex”, or at least, violence and crazy “eclectic” contents. It even has tattoo art by Brando Chiesa. Presented in large format, helmed by Grant Morrison as EIC, and with a heavy emphasis on unique and edgy comic storytelling, the magazine is an opportunity to find out about comic creators you may not have encountered before, or if you have, see them telling stories in a way you might not have seen previously. There’s always a sense of things on the boil, percolating, and oozing out at the edges of comic art.
