Stay Dangerous – Violent Love Comes To Trade In May From Image

by Staff

The hit series Violent Love, a crime romance inspired by real events, has just finished the end of its first single-issue arc and will be coming to trade right away, in May, from Image Comics.

Written by Frank Barbiere (Five Ghosts, The White Suits, The Revisionist) and illustrated by Victor Santos, the series features Daisy Jane, a girl who’s a bit of a wild card seeking revenge against a mobster for the death of her father, and Rock Bradley, a savvy gangster who agrees to help her on her mission.

Stylish beyond stylish, set in the 70’s and in the Southwest, this series also has a lot of raw emotion and heart, and it’s easy to see why it’s attracted so much attention and is going to trade so quickly.

Barbiere says:

Violent Love is a true passion project for Victor and I. We’re wild about the characters we’ve created, and hope readers are hooked by the pulpy action and romance of volume one!

Santos adds:

I always wanted to create a true romance story. This is wild love—epic scope, betrayal, violence, and passion. Violent Love is my Valentine’s gift to comic books.
