Marvel Joins ComiXology Unlimited, Expanding The Subscription’s Reach

by Staff

Today, Marvel and ComiXology have announced that Marvel Comics have now joined the slate of comics available through the comiXology Unlimited service, Kindle Unlimited, and Prime Reading. This means that a “selection” of Marvel Comics are now on the service, and fans can access them as part of their subscription and they can expect heroes like The Avengers, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Black Panther, Iron Fist, Guardians of the Galaxy and more to be available as well as through related Amazon services.

This is a big development, since while the Unlimited service has gradually added the mid-sized publishers to its roster, the fact that Marvel had their own “Marvel Unlimited” service seemed to preclude such an arrangement with comiXology. They seem to have reached an agreement on what each service will include, however, and fans don’t necessarily need to divide their subscriptions any more.

Some of the select Marvel Comics titles available on comiXology Unlimited today include:

All-New Wolverine (2015-) #1-#10
Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1.1: Learning To Crawl
Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 3: Spider-Verse

With the addition of Marvel Comics this is a great opportunity to discover and explore the best that comics have to offer. And for those just starting out reading Marvel Comics, Kindle Unlimited and Prime Reading are great places to begin.

This has considerably widened the scope of comiXology unlimited for subscribers, and no doubt more Marvel titles will continue to be added, keeping the offerings fresh and appealing over time.
