The news that the Millarworld comic Kingsman is moving from Marvel to Image gives the series, which sparked a very popular film, with a second one on the way, even more momentum than it had before.
With that move comes a change in creative teams, adding Rob Williams as writer and Simon Fraser on art.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle (starring Channing Tatum and Colin Firth) arrives in theaters in September as the second Kingsman film, and the sequel comic will arrive the same month as Kingsman: The Red Diamond.
In “The Red Diamond”, our working-class super-spy Eggsy is growing into his role as Kingsman agent, but has a long way to go. When he’s rejected by his high school crush and engaged in a rescue mission to save Prince Phillip, things spiral into an “international terror plot” that goes way beyond 007 territory.
This six issue mini-series kicks off on September 6th, 2017.
