This record may not be shipping until October, but the pre-orders are open and, given this is a Mondo production, I imagine it’ll sell out pretty quickly. Even at $35 a piece.
“We love this score and can’t quite believe that not only do we get to give it a vinyl treatment, BUT we’re releasing the full score as it appears in the film. (This is the first time this original version has ever been released on vinyl as the original soundtrack LP, and subsequent reissues were all actually re-recorded cues made especially for that LP.) The album is produced by Mike Matessino who painstakingly restored, edited and remastered every cue for this release. John William’s score has never sounded better.”
Pressed on 2x 180 Gram Ocean Blue Vinyl. Also available on 2x 180 Gram Black Vinyl.
Artwork is provided by Phantom City Creative, with a poster up for grabs too, if you can get in early. I imagine this poster, even more than the record, will be a sell-out knowing the popularity of Mondo.
If you want one, then get over to the Mondo website sharpish. Gobble it up while there are any left.
