The Witch War Continues In The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina #8

The “Witch-War” story arc of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina returned this week in issue #8 from Archie Comics, bringing us “Burnt Offerings“. In this installment, Edward Spellman, trapped in Harvey’s body, has at last been reunited with Sabrina, and all his dark plans are ready to come to fruition.

In this series written by Roberto Aguire-Sacasa, with art by Robert Hack and Jack Morelli, Sabrina has never been more chilling, honestly, or more reminiscent of great horror shows and films of the 60’s and 70’s, reminding us how much the horror tradition owes to the atmosphere and soap-operatic plots that we’ve come to know and love via the screen.

With covers by Robert Hack and Matthew Southworth, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina #8 landed in shops this week on Wednesday, August 16th.
