Lennie James Tells Officer K He’s Seen “Bigger Than You” In Blade Runner 2049 Clip

Warner Bros. Pictures has released a clip of the upcoming Blade Runner 2049 featuring Ryan Gosling’s Officer K and Lennie James as the ringleader of a nickel salvaging operation … and likely something far more nefarious.

If nothing else, Denis Villeneuve’s recreation of Ridley Scott’s world is gorgeous. Even as the Blade Runner‘s Southern California appears to be teetering on total collapse, that decay is a beauty to behold. I get the impression all of James’s workforce are Replicant children, though I could easily be wrong. I am intrigued by his protest that he played the game fairly and that people bigger than K have tried to bring him down. Considering he was willing to sell one of the children outright, I can’t image why the James character thinks he’s in any sort of right.

But I won’t have to wait too much longer to find out. Blade Runner 2049 comes to theaters on October 6th.
