Flash Executive Producers Offer Season Four Insights In New Featurette

by Erik Amaya

The CW released a new featurette in which executive producers Andrew Kreisberg and Todd Helbing discuss technical challenges in season three and offer a few insights into season four’s new status quo:

I genuinely appreciate the switch back to brightness for the upcoming year; provided they can maintain the tone. Barry was always the snazzier contrast to Oliver Queen and seeing him so guilty and desperate was tiring. I also find it interesting that Kreisberg mirrored a comment made by actor Danielle Panabaker regarding Caitlin and Killer Frost. Meanwhile, I love the notion of that Barry’s conflict with The Thinker will be “the world’s fastest man versus the world’s fastest mind.” That’s a clever twist on the way the show has approached its top-level villains. All-and-all, I’m ready for the show to come back, even if it faltered a bit last year.

The Flash returns October 10th on The CW.
