Supergirl Executive Producer Promises Mon-El Resolution In Behind-The-Scenes Featurette

Continuing the recent series of CW Behind-The-Scenes Featurettes, Supergirl executive producer Andrew Kreisberg offeres a few insights into the upcoming season in the following video, including a definite promise that Mon-El’s uncertain fate will be resolved.

Okay, I might be one of four or five people who really want to know what happened to Mon-El (Chris Wood). Although, I be more excited for the people Mon-El might’ve met on the other end of that wormhole. Did it send him to a place — or time — where his weakness to lead will no longer trouble him? Will he befriend a certain Coluan 12th level intelligence?

But back on Earth, I hope the integration of Kara’s friend groups happens fairly quickly. I mean, the alien bar meant a little bit of crossover between the DEO and, um, Team Guardian last year. But James (Mechad Brooks) was rather isolated in that set-up. As was J’onn (David Harewood) in his way. I’d love to see Lena (Katie McGrath) interact with some of those people. One can only imagine the knots Wynn (Jeremy Jordan) would tie himself into while talking to her.

And for those of us keeping track of the Sanvers situation, Kreisberg’s causal mention of Maggie (Floriana Lima) in Kara’s group of friends is a little ray of hope for her long-term survival. Well, the character, anyway.

Supergirl returns to The CW on October 9th.
