The Truth Is Out There – There’s An X-Files Children’s Picture Book
by Hannah Means Shannon
You may be amazed to learn that an X-Files children’s picture book exists, and that it can be purchased by X-Files fanatics like myself for themselves (or myself) and/or the children in their lives.X-Files: Earth Children Are Weird was published in late summer by Quirk Books and is illustrated by Kim Smith.
Described as a “sweet, silly, sci-fi bedtime story”, the picture book features “best pals” Dana (Scully) and Fox (Mulder) as they pitch a tent in the backyard for a sleepover. But things get spooky, with “sounds, lights, and shadows”. Can they find an explanation?
The publisher assures us that the book is not at all scary for kids, but will “introduce the cult TV show to an entire new generation of fans”.
