Jessica Jones Season 2 Gets A Release Date And Trailer

Netflix has released a new trailer for the upcoming second season of Jessica Jones; which will arrive on the streaming platform on March 8th.

Filled with plenty of Jessica’s (Krysten Ritter) rapier wit, it offers only a few idea about the new season. Jessica will definitely be on the hunt for her secret origin. In an interview earlier this year, Ritter said the story will take a closer look at “why Jessica is the way she’s is.” Ritter noted that not all of the character’s quirks are a result of her time with Kilgrave and that some of those other traumas will take center stage. “Even in the source material, so much stuff has happened to her. You feel for her … Every time, you’re just like, ‘Ugh, she’s been through so much.’ Yet she still fights. Which is what we love about her,” she said

It also seems she’ll be be getting to know the new neighbor (J.R. Ramirez).

Rachael Taylor and Carrie-Anne Moss return as Trish Walker and Jeri Hogarth, respectively. Eka Darville also returns as Jessica’s neighbor and self-styled secretary Malcolm while David Tennant repises his role as Kilgrave — though the exact nature of that return has yet to be revealed. Janet McTeer will also appear as someone who will have “an enormous impact” on Jessica’s life.
