Kirby, Hyrule, Donkey Kong, Oh My! Nintendo Announces Upcoming Switch Releases

by Christine Marie Attardo

It’s always a happy day when Nintendo releases news of more games coming out, and an even happier one when they are coming for the Switch! If you’re someone lucky enough to have one, then you’ve probably considered how small the catalog of games is. Well, that’s all about to change. Nintendo released a video this week sharing the upcoming releases for the system and there are quite a few!

If you don’t want to watch the whole video, which lasts about fifteen minutes, Nintendo has provided a nice guide for your favorite games:

I’m most excited for Mario Tennis, believe it or not. I really enjoyed playing the game for Wii U, but it was definitely missing something. The fact that this one will have a complete solo adventure attached to it makes a huge difference.

Besides that, I haven’t played a Kirby game in years, and Kirby Star Allies looks like it could be really fun. The platform reminded me a bit of Yoshi’s Wooley World, which was probably my favorite game for the Wii U.

It looks like we have a lot to look forward to over the coming months from Nintendo.
