Yesterday, I stumbled across some news from Nintendo that was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Cardboard crafts meet video games? Well, my first thought was, “that’s cool!” It’s called, Nintendo Labo, and it’s a game that utilizes the joy-con controllers after you’ve crafted something out of provided cardboard pieces. I know, it sounds strange. Take a look…
I mean, there are so many reasons to be excited about something like this. The fact that kids will be able to feel proud of something they’ve built themselves and then watch it come to life is awesome. So, now the big question comes…how much is it? It’s not that unreasonable, to be honest! The base kit will start at $69.99 which has several different things to craft. As you can see below, there will be more expansions.
You can find out more information or pre-order yours here. If you’re not convinced that this is for you yet, perhaps the trailer will change your mind.
I’ve spoken about the limited catalog of games that currently exist for the Switch, and as of last week we got a ton of news regarding that.
Several awesome games such as Mario Tennis and Kirby Star Allies are being released this year, but Nintendo Labo takes it to a whole new level with innovation! To me, this makes owning a Switch a must!
Nintendo Labo will release on April 20, 2018.
