The Actionverse Expands With The Stray This March

by James Ferguson

Fans of the Actionverse from Action Lab Entertainment can learn more about one of the publisher’s greatest heroes, Stray in the first collection of his adventures. Set for release in March, the trade paperback collects the first six issues of the series written by Vito Delsante, illustrated by Sean Izaakse, Lee Gaston, Carlos Cabaleiro, and Ares Taveras, featuring colors by Wilson Ramos Jr and Chris O’Halloran.

The series follows Stray as he investigates the death of a young boy and learns about an assassin with a connection to the creation of TeenAegis. This fills in some of the past history of the character as he began as a teenage sidekick.

This collection represents the beginning of an all new ongoing Actionverse series. It deals with some major current issues including police-related violence and teen suicide. The next book in the Actionverse line-up will feature Midnight Tiger.

Writer Vito Delsante says:

Stray is always going to be my avatar, and I never want to make the book just about superheroes and villains fighting. I want to entertain readers, but I also want to get a chance to talk about the things that matter to me, as a human being.

Actionverse Featuring The Stray: Volume One – The Rottweiler Years is set for release on March 28th, 2018. It is currently available for pre-order at your local comic shop with the Diamond item code JAN181092.
