Director Of Voltron And The Legend Of Korra Is Producing A Mystery Thriller Series: Blossom Detective Holmes

Blossom Detective Holmes is an independent Anime mini-series directed by Steve Ahn (Voltron: Legendary Defender, Avatar: The Legend of Korra).
With this project, Ahn hopes to create an animated crime mystery thriller with a twist on suspenseful and mature themes. Ahn is currently managing a small team of animation veterans who have worked at Pixar, Disney, Dreamworks, and Studio Ghibli.

Skylar Holmes and Jamie are two plucky female detectives who investigate crimes and murders. Skylar’s sense of smell is keener than a bloodhound’s and she carries a flower in her mouth reminiscent of Sherlock Holmes’ pipe. Jamie has a magic polaroid camera that allows her to teleport with anyone she takes a selfie with.
Admittedly, some of the animation looks a bit rough. However, this could be the first step towards a full-blown animated series like Cannon Busters or RWBY.
