Marvel Studios Class Photo Celebrates Ten Years Of The Marvel Cinematic Universe

by Erik Amaya

In a show of strength, Marvel Studios released a “class photo” featuring most of the actors and filmmakers involved in making its strange experiment — the Marvel Cinematic Universe — a success. With Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige at the center, the group fans out with people like Brie Larson, star of the upcoming Captain Marvel and Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Michael Rooker enjoying the grand meeting.

Marvel Studios also released a short video about the gathering:

In hindsight, it is remarkable that the MCU works as well as it does with as few misfires as it has. Personally, I always find the Thor and Avengers movies a little disappointing, but Guardians, Ant-Man and Captain America are some of my favorite movies of the last decade. But beyond the individual films is the excitement Marvel Studios manages to create around them. And a publicity event like this just underscores how well the company has captured people’s imaginations. Take a look at the large photo and remember your favorite Marvel movie moments:
