Geoff Johns Offers Titans A Doom Patrol Hint
by Erik Amaya
While perhaps not the most surprising guest appearances for a television show based Teen Titans, DC Entertainment co-president and chief creative officer Geoff Johns released the name of a Titans episode that will interest fans of the Doom Patrol.

The Doom Patrol, created by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani, has had a long-standing relationship with the Titans thanks to the team’s original member Beast Boy. The character later transferred to the Teen Titans; becoming part of the iconic lineup in New Teen Titans and both Teen Titans animated series. In fact, the earlier animated series, Teen Titans, featured a guest appearance by the Doom Patrol and made reference to Beast Boy’s affiliation with the group of weirdo heroes. Presumably, that history will also be part of the Titans episode as well. But at the very least, we can all hope for some shockingly accurate Doom Patrol costumes in the months ahead. The show’s early photos of Robin and Hawk and Dove revealed surprising fidelity to the look of their comic book counterparts.
Titans is set to debut on the DC-branded streaming service later this year.
