Dead Men Tell No Tales In A Preview Of Next Week’s Legends Of Tomorrow

by Erik Amaya

Now that Zari (Tala Ashe) has bonded with the Legends of Tomorrow in the goofiest way possible, it’s time to set sail on the seven seas as the Legends become non-copyright infringing pirates somewhere near or along the Caribbean. At least, that seems to be the case from this preview of next week’s show.

But you may have noticed a distinct lack of Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) in the trailer. It seems he and Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) have some adventuring of their own to do before Wally finds his way to the Waverider. Which is fine as the team needs a chance to try out their new Firestorm-less dynamic before adding a speedster into the mix.

And, as it happens, it was nice to see Zari finally embrace the team. She’s always stood apart even if she and Ray (Brandon Routh) seemed copacetic. But encouraging Mick (Dominic Purcell) with his erotic fantasy novel was such a sweet thing to see. Well, “sweet” in a way only Legends can be.

Legends of Tomorrow airs Mondays on The CW.
