Franz Drameh To Make A Legends Of Tomorrow Return

by Erik Amaya

Though Jefferson Jackson (Franz Drameh) made a pretty dramatic departure during the Legends of Tomorrow winter finale, word comes that the actor and character will make (at least) one more appearance on the show.

Comicbook.com reports that Drameh will appear in the season three finale. They also speculate that Jax will end up with the Fire Totem and, perhaps, regain Firestorm powers without the need of Martin Stein (Victor Garber) or his scientific breakthroughs.

As the show came to a close for the winter hiatus both Garber and Drameh were said to be leaving the series with Garber’s Stein killed off entirely and Drameh’s Jax leaving the Waverider in 2017 to find himself now that Firestorm was gone. Curiously, much of Jax’s season three story lines saw him becoming a stronger character and hero without Stein or Firestorm. Perhaps that plotline is still in play should Jax and the Fire Totem find their way to one another.

Meanwhile, it is still unclear how these elemental totems will ultimately defeat Mallus (John Noble) when the time finally comes for an all out confrontation. Perhaps Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), Zari (Tala Ashe), Jax and the other totem holders will merge into a Voltron or Captain Planet type entity. Does that make Ray the “heart” of that group?

Legends of Tomorrow airs Mondays on The CW.
