For the second season of FX’s Legion, it seems it may be time to dance like the world is ending. The head-trip program based on Marvel’s X-Men returns in April to confuse, bewilder and bedevil its audience once more with sides changing, time shifting and The Shadow King presenting a clear and present threat.
Well, at least as clear as anything can be on the show.
Picking up a year after the events of the first season, David Haller (Dan Stevens) discovers his friends at Summerland have joined Division 3. He also finds he cannot remember where he has been the last year. But he can remember trees and dancing. Considering the way the show used music and dance last year, one can only hope the dance-off teased here will be epic and happen as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, The Shadow King manifestation known as Lenny (Aubrey Plaza) and Oliver Bird (Jemaine Clement) wander the world; leaving chattering people in their wake. What is The Shadow Kind’s coal this time and how will he ensnare David into helping him this time?
Legion returns April 3rd on FX.
