A Sleeper Agent Invades S.H.I.E.L.D. In A Preview Of Next Week’s Show

by Erik Amaya

The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have a sleeper in their midst. And if you haven’t seen this week’s show, avert your eyes during the following preview. It tells of the sleeper Hydra embedded as a contingency plan. The agent’s mission seems simple enough, but hopefully Coulson (Clark Gregg) will be able to talk them down.

Meanwhile, Ruby (Dove Cameron) inches ever closer to becoming the destroyer of worlds. Was that always her fate or is she making alterations to the timeline no one can predict? From Fitz’s (Iain De Caestecker) thoughts this weeks, fate may not be as solid as he once believed. Then again, he had guns pointed at him, so that feeling of invisibility became fleeting. One thing does seem certain, though: if Ruby gets those gravitonium powers, Daisy (Chloe Bennet) may need a power boost in order to defeat. Now that definitely feels like fate.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Fridays on ABC.
