Skyward #1 Second Printing Gets A Gravity Defying Cover By Jock

by Hannah Means Shannon

Writer Joe Henderson (showrunner of Fox’s Lucifer) and artist Lee Garbett (Lucifer, Loki: Agent of Asgard) launched new Image series Skyward to a sell-out for the first issue.

We are not surprised, since the series is a favorite here at Comicon.com with interviews and reviews ahead of release.

The first issue of the new series is being rushed back to print in order to keep up with customer demand and the 2nd printing cover will feature artwork by the amazing artist Jock.

In Skyward, Earth’s gravity has been drastically reduced and in the 20 years that followed the change, human beings have adapted. Willa Fowler, a woman born just after the fateful “G-day”, finds positive things in this way of life, but she becomes the center of a plot to bring gravity back, which some people would kill to prevent.

Skyward #1 remains available for purchase across all digital platforms, including the Image Comics website (imagecomics.com), the official Image Comics iOS app, Comixology’s website (comixology.com), iOS, Android, and Google Play.

Skyward #1, 2nd printing by Jock (Diamond Code MAR188286) and Skyward #2 (Diamond Code MAR180755) will be available on Wednesday, May 23rd. The final order cutoff deadline for comics retailers is Monday, April 30th.
