Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Trailer Swings In With More Spider-People And A Caring Father

Sony has released a trailer for the upcoming animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse which reveals a little bit more about Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) and his world. For one thing: his dad cares about and isn’t afraid to show it. As embarrassing as it might be for Miles, he’s about to enter a new world when he meets an older Peter Parker (Jake Johnson); who discovers Miles also has spider-based powers. Soon, the two are training, but as the trailer also reveals, there are more Spider-people than just the pair.

With its own look and feel, this Spider-Man film may distinguish itself from the others just by creating such a compelling world, but its use of characters who might not otherwise appear on the big screen is fascinating.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse opens on December 14th.
