A Celebration Of Japanese Pop Culture: Anime Expo Photo Gallery, Day 1

Anime Expo is a celebration of everything Otaku. The show is the largest of its kind in North America and fans can partake in anime, manga, video games, cosplay and more. This year the show began Thursday, July 5th, at the Los Angeles Convention Center and runs until July 8.

For those who are willing to put up with the southern California summer time heat, there is plenty to see and do. You can check out scenes from the first day in the gallery below.
