SDCC 2018: Aspen Unveils Third And Final Wave Of Exclusives

Aspen Comics has made it clear that they’ll a whole bunch of exclusive merchandise available at San Diego Comic Con this year. We’ve already covered the first two waves which featured an array of variant covers, jewelry, and prints. Now we’ve entered the third and final wave. All of this will be available at booth #2320.

First up is a new expanded edition of the currently sold out “Women10Michael Turner art book. Now it’s called “Women15” and is an expanded hardcover with a new collection of artwork celebrating Turner’s work and the publisher’s fifteen-year anniversary. This is limited to 500 copies.

Batman fans have a chance to pick up exclusive variant covers of Batman #50. Aspen will have four different covers on hand featuring artwork from Michael Turner and Peter Steigerwald. These are available in a tiered system. There’s a Catwoman / Sirens cover limited to 3,000 copies for $10 each. Couple that with a Batman cover that’s limited to 1,500 copies for a total of $30. Add in a Poison Ivy cover limited to 1,000 covers for a total of $60. Finally, you can get the Poison Ivy “Green with Ivy” cover for $50 each or get all four for $100. This last cover is limited to 1,000 copies.

If you’re not attending SDCC, you still have a chance to pick up these Batman #50 covers. Aspen is offering the entire set online at AspenStore.com. The “Green with Ivy” is intended only for SDCC and only a select amount will be available at the convention. The remaining balance will be available at a special event at a later date.

Finally, Aspen will be holding another panel called “Michael Turner Legacy” on Thursday at 1 PM in Room 9. This will look back at Turner’s contributions to the comic book industry and beyond. Every fan in attendance will receive a free “15 Years Strong” Michael Turner commemorative button.
