While there is much excitement about this year’s Arrowverse crossover — it will introduce Batwoman into the television universe and possibly lead into her own series — the heroes of Legends of Tomorrow will reportedly sit out the crossover event.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the crossover will focus on characters from Arrow, Flash and Supergirl; which suggests the story may take place on Supergirl‘s Earth-36 — and by extension, the eventual Batwoman series as well. Since the Legends are not bound in any point it time, there may not be the opportunity to port them over to Supergirl’s (Melissa Benoist) world.

Meanwhile, the Legends will have plenty to do as their actions in the Season 3 finale unleashed creatures of myth across time. Teaming up with John Constantine (Matt Ryan), the team will have to put myths back where they belong.

Legends of Tomorrow returns on October 22nd.
