Viz Media To Release Manga Series Dr. Stone & Radiant In September

The famous manga publisher, Viz Media, has announced two new upcoming series they will be releasing a week apart this September. They are the dystopian manga adventure, Dr. Stone and the wizard fantasy, Radiant.

The creative team behind Dr. Stone are writer Riichiro Inagaki and artist Boichi and the book will debut on September 4th. In this world, all of humanity have been turned to stone and millennia later, a high school student named Taiju finds himself restored to flesh. Later he encounters his friend, Senku and together they work towards finding a solution to free mankind through the power of science.

Radiant is a supernatural action/adventure series written and illustrated by the French born Tony Valente. Evil creatures known as Nemeses have plagued the world and only Wizards, those who have been infected but have survived the Nemeses corruption, can fight them off. One Wizard, Seth, sets off to find the source of the Nemeses, a mythical nest called Radiant, to destroy it and vanquish the foes once and for all.

The manga will be released September 11th. It has already been adapted to an anime by a Japanese production company and is set to debut this Fall.
