What Do Neil Gaiman, Narnia, And Goldilocks Have In Common?

by James Ferguson

Dark Horse Comics continues to expand upon its impressive Neil Gaiman Library with The Problem of Susan and Other Stories.  The collection includes adaptations of  the Gaiman short stories “The Problem of Susan,” “October in the Chair,” “Locks,” and “The Day the Saucers Came.”  Neil Gaiman, P. Craig Russell, Scott Hampton, and Paul Chadwick work to adapt the prose stories to comic book form.

The story “The Problem of Susan” explores the power of children’s literature through the eyes of an aged college professor.  It’s the kind of story Gaiman is known for.  This also reminds me that he has a wealth of stories that I haven’t had the pleasure of reading just yet.

The Problem of Susan and Other Stories will be available on January 23rd, 2019 at your local comic shop and booksellers like Amazon.
