Long Beach Comic Con ’18: IDW Reveals Exclusives & Signing Schedule

Long Beach Comic Con is celebrating their 10th edition this weekend, September 8 & 9, and the southern California show is going big. Part of the festivities is having the most comic publishers exhibiting than ever before. One publisher in particular, IDW, revealed their plans for the convention.

They will be selling a con exclusive variant for Rick and Morty vs. Dungeons & Dragons #1 with the cover illustrated by Tess Fowler.

In addition, they will have some talent signing at their booth, #900. If you pick up the variant, you can have it signed by Fowler herself. She and creator of Surfside Girls, Kim Dwinell, are appearing exclusively at IDW. Also set to appear are artists, Tony Fleecs (My Little Pony), J.K. Woodward (Star Trek TNG: Mirror Broken) and legend, Kevin Eastman (T.M.N.T.). The Eastman signing is ticketed which you can pick up at the booth Sunday morning when the show opens.  Check out the schedule below.

Saturday, September 8th:

11:00am – 12:00pm: Kim Dwinell (Surfside Girls)

12:00pm – 2:00pm: Tess Fowler (Rick & Morty vs. D&D, Kid Lobotomy)
• Get the exclusive convention variant signed by the cover artist!

2:00pm – 3:00pm: Tony Fleecs (My Little Pony)

4:00pm – 5:30pm: J.K. Woodward (Star Trek: TNG – Mirror Broken)

Sunday, September 9th:

11:00am – 12:00pm: Kim Dwinell (Surfside Girls)

12:00pm – 1:00pm: Tony Fleecs (My Little Pony)

2:00pm – 4:00pm: Kevin Eastman (co-creator, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
• Admission into this signing requires an exclusive ticket. Tickets for this signing will be distributed at the IDW booth when the show opens on Sunday, September 9th.
• Maximum of 2 items to be signed by Mr. Eastman. No sketches or photos can be accommodated.
