New York Comic Con will begin in just a few days and my dance card is already pretty full. Zenescope Entertainment has shared details for their plans during the convention and it looks like a pretty packed line-up. The publisher will be found at booth #1906. It’s here you’ll be able to find over 15 brand new NYCC limited edition comics and other hard to find exclusive content, plus some new merchandise like Zenescope beer pong tables, glassware, bottle openers, and magnets.
Zenescope will also be celebrating the 100th anniversary of Ripley’s Believe It Or Not with a two part graphic novel series. Part 1 will be available at the booth along with a special collectible pin from FanSets.
Be sure to stop by the booth for some special guest appearances and signings from the likes of Zenescope founders and writers Joe Brusha & Ralph Tedesco, plus Zenescope Lead Editor and writer Dave Franchini, Zenescope Editor / Writer Terry Kavanagh, and Howard Mackie. Signing and appearance times are currently TBA. They’ll be available on the Zenescope site or on their Facebook and Twitter pages closer to the convention date.
That’s not all though! Zenescope will be hosting a panel called Girl Fight: The Leading Ladies of Comics on Thursday, October 4th at 7:45 PM in Room #1A02. Host Amy Moyer will be joined by Lisa Wu, Victoria Rau, and Jen King to discuss creating complex female heroes and villains.
Zenescope will also be raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation throughout the convention. This is something that hits close to home for the publisher. A portion of select art print sales will be going towards the Cystic Fibrosis Walk taking place on October 20th, 2018 in Philadelphia at Talen Energy Stadium.
