Miraculous Gets In The Holiday Spirit With Santa Claws Comic

by James Ferguson

We’re in the midst of the build-up to the holidays so it’s no surprise that there are some Christmas-themed comics on the way. Action Lab Entertainment has announced the comic adaptation of “Santa Claws” from Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, now available at your local comic shop. What are our heroes to do when Santa Claus gets akumatized by Hawk Moth? Will it be the worst Christmas Eve in Paris’ history? Or will Ladybug and Cat Noir save Christmas?

Miraculous is a great super hero show aimed at a younger audience. I saw a handful of kids dressed as Ladybug at New York Comic Con too so it’s definitely resonating with kids. My two boys love the show too. This is an adaptation in the purest sense of the word as the artwork is little more than screenshots from the TV show. This might offend comic book purists, but it’s a great way to introduce kids to comics and get them reading.

Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir – Santa Claws Christmas Special is written by Jeremy Zag, Thomas Astruc, Fred Lenoir, Thibaudeau Sebastien, and Kaniel Noam. It is arranged and adapted by Cheryl Black and Nicole D’Andria. It’s currently available at your local comic shop or online on Amazon.
