Now that Nate (Nick Zano) and Ava (Jes Macallan) have secured the Time Bureau’s place in the federal government, it’s time for a federal audit. Which means Nate’s father Hank (Tom Wilson) will be visiting the Waverider and meeting the crew on Legends of Tomorrow. But is his trip to the time ship above board?
Thanksgiving at the Heywood household yielded some surprising truths about Nate’s family. Which will no doubt lead to some sad revelations for Nate in time. Meanwhile, the Legends’ new working relationship with Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) was exciting to see get established. Maybe in time, they’ll all learn to trust each other.
But the real star of this week’s episode was the return of Mick Rory’s (Dominic Purcell) writing and Zari’s (Tala Ashe) fannish devotion to it. Hopefully, his novel-writing will come into play as the season progresses. Rory finding a second life as a fantasy author would be one of the show’s great turns. Meanwhile, I hope things turn out well for Ray (Brandon Routh) and Nora (Courtney Ford). He’s never been particularly lucky in the romance department and he deserves a little bit of success in that arena.
Legends of Tomorrow airs Mondays on The CW.
