Doctor Dee Gets The Book Of Destiny In A Preview Of Elseworlds

by Erik Amaya

“Elseworlds,” this year’s major Arrowverse crossover, is nearly upon us and The CW has finally released a proper trailer which sees Oliver Queen (Grant Gustin) and Barry Allen (Stephen Amell) waking up to the startling realization that they have switched bodies, abilities and family situations. It all appears to be the work of Doctor John Deegan (Jeremy Davies), the Arrowverse’s take on Doctor Dee, who receives the Book of Destiny from the Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) to rewrite Earth-1 (and possibly other nearby Earths) as he sees fit. And it seems switching the Flash and Green Arrow is only the beginning.

The crossover will also feature the debuts of Batwoman (Ruby Rose) and the Earth-38 Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch), the return of Earth-38’s Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) and John Wesley Shipp reprising his role as Barry Allen from the 1990s Flash television show. It will also feature at least a few cameos from supporting cast members of the various Arrowverse shows and, who knows, maybe a Beebo or three.

“Elseworlds” begins December 9th on The CW.
