A Love Letter To The 80’s Via Werewolves: Chase The Moon On Kickstarter

by Hannah Means Shannon

There are many worthy projects funding on Kickstarter at any one time, and Chase the Moon is a 100 page graphic novel project that’s been garnering a lot of attention, but still needs a really solid push to get through its last week of funding and hit its goal.

Written by Bob Frantz and Kevin Cuffe, with art by Drew Moss, and letters and edits by Chas Pangburn, the graphic novel features one big chase, basically, as a young werewolf and his pack try to survive a night being chased by monsters with the help of a human girl to reach their future and their freedom.

Kevin Cuffe says:

Chase the moon is our love letter to the 80s. We wanted to do something unique with world building, romance and horror genres but with facets of genuine emotion about the human condition.  The story in Chase the moon is no different. It thrives in the shadows, but proves that something bright and hopeful can still exist.

Here’s a look at some of the artwork for the book and rewards so far:

Some of the rewards for supporting the project include sketches, original comic pages, a head shot sketch, and even a role in the comic book!
