Goodnight Paradise, written by Joshua Dysart (Unknown Soldier, B.P.R.D.), artist Alberto Ponticelli (The Dark Knight, Unknown Soldier), colourist Giulia Brusco (Django Unchained, Scalped) and letterer Steve Wands (Batman, Descender) is the fourth of TKO Studios’ debut titles and a rather intriguing sounding book with the central protagonist not being your usual heroic archetype to say the least. And, it’s out now via the TKO Studios website.
Goodnight Paradise is a murder mystery set in the homeless population of Venice, California.
Eddie Quinones is a Venice Beach original. But now, middle-aged, homeless, alcoholic, and prone to mental lapses, he is plagued by the changing world around him. Venice is ground zero for the new tech economy, and as the wealth flows in, Eddie’s Venice is being washed away.
One night, while looking for food, Eddie finds the body of a murdered runaway teenager. The discovery sends him into the darkest truths of his town, where he finds he may
be the only one who cares enough to solve the murder.
