Jennifer Blood Gets Omnibus Treatment This March

by James Ferguson

Jennifer Fellows’ adventures as a happy homemaker by day and a violent vigilante by night as Jennifer Blood will be collected in a series of four omnibus editions from Dynamite Entertainment beginning in March 2019. The first one clocks in at a massive 760 pages featuring writing from Garth Ennis and Al Ewing and artwork from Adriano Batista, Kewber Baal, and Eman Casallos. It will feature a cover by Stephen Segovia.

The series follows the typical life of Jennifer as she makes breakfast, takes her kids to school, cleans the house and so on before drugging her family at night to ensure they sleep through until morning. Then she heads out to stalk the underworld on a personal vendetta against organized crime.

This first omnibus collects the first four volumes of the Jennifer Blood series: A Woman’s Work is Never Done, Beautiful People, Neither Tarnished Nor Afraid, and The Trial of Jennifer Blood, plus the six-issue Ninjettes series. It will also feature an interview with Ennis and additional bonus material, sketches, and a cover gallery.

Dynamite President Nick Barrucci says:

Jennifer Blood has been one of our best-selling series since she was first created back in 2010. Garth Ennis continued to turn the genre on its head by giving us a character who is at heart a cold-blooded killer that has taken on the burden of having a family, and the tapestry was expanded by Al (Ewing). Through Garth and Al Ewing’s stories we were able to strike a chord with our readers and I’m excited to have all of these great stories collected into an omnibus for existing fans to revisit and new ones to discover.
