Classic Tank Girl Collected In ‘Dirty Old Tank Girl’ From Titan Comics

by Oliver MacNamee

Continuing their recent Renaissance of Tank Girl with a new monthly series, Titan Comics are also releasing new collection of some classic Tank Girl stories this March. Dirty Old Tank Girl collects Skidmarks, illustrated Rufus Dayglo (2000AD) and Carioca illustrated by fellow 2000AD alumni and Grand Master of the Arts, Mike McMahon.

Both stories are, as always, written by Tankie co-creator, Alan Martin and the comedic click-bait cover is drawn by current Tank Girl artist, Brett Parsons.

Here’s more information about both stories, as well as a preview of the Dayglo drawn Skidmarks.

Skidmarks: Tank Girl sets off on an illegal cross-continental race in a bid to win enough money for an incredibly expensive operation to bring her best friend Barney out of a skateboard-accident induced coma.

Carioca: After our heroine is rudely snubbed on a TV game show, she plots the death of the vulgar host in question unwittingly releasing the vengeance of his embittered wife and a gang of highly trained assassins as a result!

Dirty Old Tank Girl is out March 19th from Titan Comics.
