The Book Of The Apocalypse Begins On Black Lightning Next Week

The final book of Black Lightning‘s second season is called “The Book of the Apocalypse,” which suggests some pretty crazy things will happen in the final two episodes of the year. Considering Lala’s (William Catlett) plan to end Tobias (Marvin “Krondon” Jones III), the ASA discovering the truth about the Pierces, and Tobias’s plans for the pod metas, things can only get, well, apocalyptic. But as this preview for next week’s episode indicates, Jennifer (China Anne McClain) will be part of the explosion as Jefferson (Cress Williams) tries to instill in her the reason why superheroes do not kill. Well, most of them, anyway. But will she agree with her father’s no-kill rule?

Meanwhile, I’m glad to see Lala and Catlett back on the show. The actor is excellent and the character’s story just gets stranger every time he returns. Should this be Lala’s last stand, The CW should develop a show for Catlett. He’s just too good to be a guest star.

Black Lightning airs Mondays on The CW.
