ECCC 2019: POKÉMON Detective Pikachu Receives Graphic Novel Adaptation From Legendary Comics

This May, POKÉMON will be receiving the live action treatment when the film, POKÉMON Detective Pikachu, will be released. Plenty of buzz surrounds the movie since the trailers have been released. Ryan Reynolds voices the titular character who partners up with Justice Smith’s, Tim Goodman, in order to find Tim’s missing father.

Thursday afternoon, at the Legendary Comics’ panel at Emerald City Comic Con, the publisher announced they will release a graphic novel adaptation of the feature film this summer. It will be written by Brian Buccellato and illustrated by Nelson Dániel. The title will be available both online and in stores.

POKÉMON Detective Pikachu the movie comes out May 10, 2019 from Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures.
