Voracious Returns For Another Course In ‘Appetite For Destruction’

by James Ferguson

Voracious, the series described as “Top Chef meets Jurassic Park” is back for a third and final chapter this May from Action Lab: Danger Zone called Appetite for Destruction. Written by Markisan Naso, illustrated by Jason Muhr, and colored by Andrei Tabacaru, the comic follows Chef Nat Willner as his adventures through time and alternate dimensions reignite his passion for cooking. He’s got a leg up on his competition as he’s using prehistoric meat. His actions have damaged another universe, broken the trust of the people he cares about most, and unleashed a flesh-hungry monster, so you probably won’t be seeing him on the Food Network any time soon.

Writer Markisan Naso says:

Voracious: Appetite for Destruction is the biggest, most explosive arc of the series. The action scenes are crazy, the character moments are intense, and all the sandwiches are in dire jeopardy. This is the epic finish to Nate’s story that we’ve always wanted to tell.

Voracious: Appetite for Destruction will feature a main cover by Muhr and a variant by Valentin Ramon.

Artist Jason Muhr added:

All the characters, storylines and mysteries we’ve introduced over the course of the series come crashing together in this final volume. We hope readers will love the conclusion to our crazy, time-traveling, dino-snacking story as much as we loved creating it.

Voracious: Appetite for Destruction #1 is set for release on May 29th, 2019.
