Bethesda Shows Off Co-Op In Wolfenstein Expansion ‘Wolfenstein: Youngblood’

by Sage Ashford

Bethesda and MachineGames have revealed a new trailer for the latest entry in the Wolfenstein franchise, “Wolfenstein: Youngblood”.  This new title is set nineteen years after Wolfenstein 2, following BJ Blazkowicz’s daughters Jess and Soph.  When the two girls discover their father went missing in Paris, a part of the world still occupied by the Nazis, they decide to track him down and bring him home.  (All set to awesome 1980’s synthwave music, hopefully.)  The latest major entry to the Wolfenstein series, “Youngblood” will cater to co-op fans, as Jess and Soph are always playable, but for those who would rather work alone the other character will be controlled by the AI.

The trailer also talks about Youngblood’s Deluxe Edition, which will include a Buddy Pass to allow players to invite people on their online friends lists to play the game alongside them for free. This Deluxe version also includes alternate versions of the Blazkowicz twins’ power suits, the Cyborg Skin Pack. For players who pre-order, they can also get the Legacy Pack, allowing players to wear BJ’s outfits from New Colossus as well as some of his weapons from the Old Blood expansion.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is available July 26th for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
