PlayStation Announces Their Free Games For PlayStation Plus Subscribers In April

by Sage Ashford

A couple days ahead of the new month, PlayStation announced the new free games they have coming this April. Next month’s entries will include Conan Exiles and The Surge.

Released last May, Conan Exiles is developed by Funcom, and is an open world survival game. Players begin as a created character who is rescued by the legendary barbarian king himself, after being left to die for unstated crimes. In the harsh desert known as the Exiled Lands, players will gradually craft materials and tools from what they find in the wild, battling against humans, the undead, animals in the Exiled Lands, and even their own hunger and thirst.

Meanwhile, The Surge is a Dark Souls-like video game courtesy of Deck13 Interactive and Focus Home Interactive.  The spiritual follow up to Lords of the Fallen, The Surge takes place in a dark sci-fi world where you play as Warren, an employee who discovers his workplace is destroyed and under attack by rogue machines.

These games will both be available for PlayStation+ subscribers on Tuesday, April 2nd.
