Bandai-Namco has released a trailer for it’s first DLC character in Seto Kaiba, one of the main antagonists from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series.
Much like Yugi, Kaiba doesn’t do the battling himself. Instead he summons his signature monster Blue-Eyes White Dragon as well as the legendary Egyptian god, Obelisk the Tormentor, both of whom seem capable of handling his work for him. He also seems to have other abilities based on the cards he was most known for as well, with a version of Fiendish Chain visible in the trailer’s combat scenes. Seto Kaiba will be one of three DLC characters launching this May, but the other two remain unknown currently. These aren’t the only updates available this May for the game either, as they will also bring a new stage (World Tournament), a raid boss event, and an online link mission for free.
Bandai seems interested in keeping support for this game going well into the second half of the year, as the second batch of DLC characters won’t be available until sometime in August. Given Jump Force’s popularity and how long XenoVerse 2 has been supported, there’s a strong chance we could see updates beyond that point as well.
Jump Force is available for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One now.
