Iain Glen To Become Bruce Wayne On DC Universe’s Titans

Iain Glen is leaving Westeros behind for Gotham City.

Deadline reports the actor will portray Bruce Wayne in the second season of DC Universe’s Titans. The character cast a big shadow in the first year as principal Titan Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) went out of his way to define himself away from the Batman; going as far as to say “f*ck Batman” in an infamous first episode moment.

But according to the site, Glen’s Wayne will be an older man than Titans previously suggested with the character trying to mend his relationship with Dick. In fact, a reference to Bruce “needing” to repair the relationship suggests he may no longer be in a condition to be the hero Gotham deserves. Which may make for an interesting story as Titans second season seems to be focusing on fathers and father figures. It will open by resolving the situation with Trigun and move on to a tale featuring Deathstroke (Esai Morales) and his children.

Titans’ second season is set to debut later this year on DC Universe.
