Last winter at the Game Awards, news dropped that the popular Marvel Alliance video game franchise would be returning with its third installment, Marvel Alliance 3: The Black Order. Over on the Marvel website, more details about the title were announced including the release date.

The game will launch July 19, 2019 and will be available in stores or in the Nintendo E-shop for $59.99. Create your own superhero team from a large cast of characters as you travel to various iconic Marvel Universe locations in search of the Infinity Stones. You better act fast because Thanos and his Black Order also want to retrieve them. It’s a new story and it allows up to four people to play together in co-op mode either locally or online. Players can drop in and out of the game at any time. Some of the newly revealed superheroes to choose from are Black Panther, Deadpool, Doctor Strange and making her first appearance in Marvel Alliance, Spider-Gwen.  Each hero has their own set of unique abilities and powers so part of the fun is finding the perfect combination to maximize your team’s effectiveness.

Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, says:
