Rick and Morty Issue 50 Comic Variant Covers & Gallery Exhibit Announced

by Richard Bruton

What would make the 50th issue of Rick and Morty even more special than it already is?

How about a very special exhibition of 50 original Rick and Morty covers in a gallery exhibit?

And if that’s not enough, how about getting the chance to get your hands on two very exclusive variant covers by Julieta Colás featuring series creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon? That sounds incredible, right?

Well, you’ll get your chance to do both, at the Bottleneck Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. The grand unveiling takes place on Tuesday May 21st (7-9pm), with the gallery exhibit running for another 30 days.

Artist Julieta Colás has been illustrating the trade paperback variant covers for Oni Press’s Rick and Morty collections, Volumes 1-7, Rick and Morty: Lil’ Poopy Superstar, and Rick and Morty: Pocket Like You Stole It, exclusively sold at conventions as well as the Oni Press Shopify storefront. It’s her work you see all over this post… very revealing stuff!

And, just for extras, Bottleneck Gallery will be selling 100 limited edition and numbered 16 x 20 prints of the first 5 issue covers on giclee.

Rick and Morty issue 50 comes out from Oni Press on May 29th and you can find the Bottleneck Gallery at 60 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11249.
