Emiko And Oliver Face Off In Arrow Season Finale Preview

by Erik Amaya

The season finale of Arrow is nearly here and if this preview is any indication, Oliver (Stephen Amell) will continue to use passive resistance against Emiko’s (Sea Shimooka) rage. Will it prove effective?

But let’s face it, the 2019 storyline is nowhere near as interesting as 2049. Will Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and the gang find a way out of their jam? Will they be able to save William (Ben Lewis) and Rene (Rick Gonzalez) before it’s too late? And most importantly, will William get his answers from Felicity before she dies?

Well, we’re assuming she’s going to die in 2049 because next week is Rickard’s last episode and we know 2019 Felicity is about to go into hiding. The timing screams noble sacrifice for the character in her future storyline.

Back in 2019, we were hoping Alena (Kacey Rohl) would become the new Overwatch for Season 8, but her comments in 2049 suggests next week will be the last time we see her as well. That is unfortunate as Rohl has always brought a little bit of Barbara Gordon to the show. She would’ve been a nice sub-in for Felicity next year, even if Arrow‘s final season is a short 10 episodes.

Arrow airs Mondays on The CW.
