Bandai-Namco Announces One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows

by Sage Ashford

Bandai-Namco and developer Spike-Chunsoft have announced a new game set in the One Punch Man universe: One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows. The game is a 3v3 fighting game where players can take on their favorite characters from the OPM universe and pit them against each other. The current list of available characters includes Saitama himself, Saitama’s apprentice the cyborg Genos, his nemesis Speed O’Sound Sonic, the inspirational Mumen Rider, and the woman standing at the top of the B Class, Hellish Blizzard.

More characters will be confirmed later (especially since this is a 3 on 3 fighter with only five characters confirmed so far), with season one villain Lord Boros on the cover of the game.  The inclusion of Hellish Blizzard suggests season 2 characters are not off the table, meaning Garou and other characters will likely make an appearance.

There’s no word yet on how everyone will get around Saitama’s ability to defeat everyone in a single punch, though….

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows has no current release date other than “coming soon”, but it will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
