EA Releases 26 Minutes Of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Gameplay

by Sage Ashford

Coming out of the game’s proper introduction during E3, EA and Respawn have released an extended section of the gameplay they showed us at E3 for their upcoming action-adventure game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Fallen Order sees young Jedi Cal Kestis battling against the Empire in the wake of Order 66, a directive to see every Jedi destroyed. After a specific incident causes Cal to reveal his powers, players will be forced to master Cal’s Jedi abilities to help him stay alive.

This gameplay opens with the main character, Cal Kestis on planet Kashyyk, sneaking his way into an AT-AT and battling Stormtroopers for control before taking it into battle to aid Rebel forces against other Empire troops.  After the set piece, Cal meets up with Saw Gerrera, leader of the Rebel troops in the area and agrees to take on a mission to free some Wookies from working as slave labor for the Empire. In addition to being a more complete look at that gameplay, this section also gives us a look at the ship Cal uses to reach different planets, as well as his allies Jedi Master Cere and Greez (the owner of the ship Cal uses).

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order releases on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on November 15th.
